As your VA my goal is simple: to work as efficiently as possible to streamline your workload, freeing you to achieve your key professional and personal goals.

My priority is to work accurately in the specific way you require to ensure your business flourishes, leaving you time for your top priorities. I am detail-orientated and proactive – I want to start a project, but I want to finish it quickly too.

My background includes more than 12 years admin, business development and project work for a medical defence organisation, providing daily support to world-leading medical surgeons, consultants and busy dental professionals. I have worked in the media and legal industries, supporting journalists and lawyers with demanding deadlines, including working as an executive assistant for London’s Metro Newspaper.

My qualifications include a first class honours English degree from the University of Leicester and a journalism postgraduate diploma from the University of Cardiff. I also have a project management Prince2 qualification.

I have extensive experience in scheduling daily appointments, daily email and phone liaison, national event and travel management, client account management, customer service, sales and marketing support.

My work requires a high level of discretion and adhering to data protection regulations and I have experience working to FSA regulations, handling sensitive information relating to medical liability claims and legal case files under the official secrets act.

I am proficient with IT systems and at ease adopting emerging systems – Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, Concur, Tableau, cloud-sharing, electronic filing, CRMs, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter  – you name it!

In my spare time I have a love of sport and photography. I have been lucky to take part in triathlons, a duathlon and half marathon in recent years and recently had the honour of photographing a friend’s wedding. The photo you can see at the top of this page is one I took recently of the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol where I am currently based.
